American hegemony has been horrific for Europe, from Dresden to destructive liberalism and eco-fascism. Maybe time for something new. A German-Russian power block in Europe would be novel and highly successful, but uncomfortable at first for the UK and France.

Anglo civ has been in a failure mode for most of this century. Bin it. Europe is shedding that skin with what angloids perceive as a lurch to the right.

Having been famously right about bitcoin, I'm going to be right about Europe: Germany will swing definitively to the right and make amends with Russia. They were already as economically intertwined as Chimerica until the Ukraine debacle. First economically, then in the security and military spheres. America, France, and the UK will be aghast at first, but by then the dollar will have collapsed, China will undergo a reconfiguration on its own terms. Sovereign AI and bitcoin will decide the fate of nations. All of which looks bad for the UK, which will probably catch a few nukes for being so uppity along the way.

IT'S STRIKING THAT eUROPE HASN'T GOT ANY BIG TECH FIRMS. IT'S BEEN LEFT BEHIND IN THAT SENSE. NO APPLE, OR PORNHUB ETC

Putting all our chips on a square mile of centralized finance is going to look very silly, even by the end of this decade. Two generations of engineers, computer scientists, leaders moving money around, and for what?
