Wonder how this Mexico thing will go. You'd have thought Trump wouldn't want to open that whole can of worms, but guess he's got some John Bolton types around him who are desperate to send the lads in to fight the cartels.

Interesting seeing him take a harder stance on Putin too:
Talking to reporters in the White House, he said of Russian President Vladimir Putin: “He should make a deal. I think he’s destroying Russia by not making a deal.”
Trump was unprecedentedly stark, focusing on the economic damage done to Russia by the war. “I think Russia is going to be in big trouble. You take a look at their economy. You take a look at their inflation in Russia,” he added, referring to price rises edging towards 10%. “I got along with him great. I would hope he wants to make a deal.”
He loosely referenced Moscow’s staggering casualty rates in a war now nearing its fourth year in which Western officials estimate 700,000 Russians have been killed or injured.
“He can’t be thrilled,” Trump said of Putin. “He’s not doing so well. I mean, he’s grinding it out… it’s not making him look very good… I think he would be well off to end that war.”

surely they want for Mexico what Argentina have... a hardline messianic madman that they can sortof control, bonfire of the regulations, mass government shrinkage, dismantling of state institutions, huge military... kick backs to US energy companies, contracts for massive ramping up of mineral harvesting... etc... I can't help feeling there's going to be little of interest in there. You'd have thought if there were anything seriously incriminating it would never have been recorded in the first place and if it had then it would have been removed or destroyed long before now.

That's kinda true. I find it amazing that he still loves doing his long rambling speeches and stuff like that. Crazy energy. But at the same time it's completely artificial, he's propped up by drugs and without them he looks lost and frail... so he could live to 150 or his heart could explode tomorrow.
