i think of dissensus as appreciating music that's unabashedly pop and, occasionally, music that's unabashedly "out there"--moreso than with a happy medium. i mean i know we all like can or whatever, but in terms what's unique taste-wise to dissensus vs. other similar online communities.

there again... looking at the popular choices so far, that may be not true when it comes to albums.
