Basically marvel sold off the film rights on their main characters to other studios in the 80's and 90's as they were going bankrupt.

Iron man was one that that marvel still had when they started marvel film studios.

yeah, no cared about Iron man apart ghostface."

The Iron Giant which is loosely based on The Iron Man is a masterpiece of animation.

The Marvel link here is that Vin Diesel plays the Iron Giant, uttering barely any dialogue – just as he did for Groot in GOTG.

The public profile of The Avengers is interesting. The superhero keeping their true identity under wraps is a well worn trope, but Tony Stark holds a press conference and just tells everyone he's Iron Man. They have a huge building with their logo on it. Captain America does educational videos Peter Parker has to watch in school.

It's a bit Randian. Everyone's forced to defer to and just get out of the way of these objectively superior beings.

Except that they're not supposed to be wiser than everybody else, they keep fucking up and getting civilians killed.

Although the message is very very mixed on this. In the end it seems like they sort of should do what they need to do.
