No exaggeration, this has saved my life. Im an addict and have had many years battling opioid and other abusive substance addictions. Ive been doing this for a few weeks now and it has totally diminished my urges to the point where they’re gone. I do this in the morning when i wake up and usually once during the day and once before bed occasionally. Cold showers ive been doing for two years now. The combo of cold exposure and breathing exercises is my new high. Thank you Wim 🙏🏼

I hardly comment on Youtube but here is my story. In March of 2020 my whole life broke apart. Covid got me really good, not physically, but I really struggled with my mental health. I had panic attacks every other day. It got so worse, that I wouldn't sleep properly for days. I couldn't go to sleep because of anxiety, finally when I fell asleep I woke up within 1 hour and was straight out panicking. I had like 4-5 panic attacks every night. I tried to calm myself with meditation, with audiobooks, with talking to friends on the phone etc. Nothing really fixed the root of the problem. I couldn't break the cycle. But one night, when I was trying to distract myself with videos of YesTheory I came across Wim. I found this very video and did this breathing technique and for the first time, what felt like ages, I could think clearly again. This was the beginning for some major changes in my life. I found a new job, I worked hard on my physical health and reached out to my family and friends and started to bond again with my best friends, my father, mother and sister. All the people that were dearest to me. If you know anyone, who is going trough similar experiences, gently nudge them in the direction of this video. I certainly wish someone did that for me back than.

Been practising this method for 8 months now since having a major mental breakdown which can only be described as like your brain snapping overnight. I’ve gone through months of psychological torture, psychosis, vivid dreams and delusions / derealisation. I’m nearly at 9 months into my recovery and many of my symptoms have cleared up after practising this method each and every day. I am convinced this method works miracles as I’ve noticed gradual improvement over time. I’m not at the finish line yet and still have more recovery to do but I will never stop the Wim Hof method going forward. I bought the book and I really owe this man! Thanks, Wim.

Wim. You my friend have changed my life. I overdosed on drugs and experienced partial paralysis. Just a few sessions of this method triggered muscular regeneration. I could not extend my leg, now I can. Now I’m on the path to being able to run again. Not only that... my addiction is gone. That my friend is more than anyone could do for me in 10 years of trying to get clean. You gave me will power to completely challenge myself. I hope one day to come to your course and challenge myself in the ice. I know I don’t know you but I love you for this. Thank you!
