Anyone heard of this Sam Sulek guy? 21 and looks like The Hulk. He's got a huge online following because he just seems like a regular bloke who's impossibly jacked. His videos are mostly him eating or in the gym, always wearing a baseball cap over his eyes. You've got to think it's going to wreck his health. Look at him...

We had an exchange student at university from the States who was somewhat jacked; he had bulging eyes, possibly from his 'repeated exertions'. The last reunion I attended his wife informed me that he had died of a heart attack. If you want to draw attention to yourself, just wear a sandwich board: it always works and it's a lot safer.

I found Sulek's actual videos a bit boring. Once you've marvelled at his size, his content is quite tame, which I guess is part of why he's successful - "ordinary guy" vibes.

I've been enjoying Eddie Abbew on Instagram who is funny the first few times you see him, but then it gets a bit tired. He's a former competitive bodybuilder who has developed this weird Insta following because he swears loads and slags off processed food. He says he used to eat 36 eggs a day. It's mostly videos of him swearing angrily and creatively. The basics of what he says is kinda true, I think, it's better to eat simple unprocessed foods but there's content farm pressure at work in his videos as you can't just say the same simple thing forever.

It's also interesting because he's untrained in nutrition and science and making a lot of bold claims. Makes me understand how bad science and vibes basically drive social media wellness posting.

Anyone else here into using resistance bands? I've been obsessed lately. You can replace pretty much a whole gym's worth of equipment with one of these, and they're quite easy to travel with. I'm getting yoked broh.

This is the routine I'm working with, using a 40-pound resistance band, but I might continue to tweak it to make sure its a healthy routine (EG I'm not sure if its always good to combine exercises like floor press + leg lift).

[3 x 15] Banded Floor Press + Leg Lift

[3 x 15] Banded Seated Row

[3 x 15] Banded Reverse Fly + Standing Calf Raise

[3 x 15] Standing Two-hand Band Curl

[3 x 15] Band Push-up

[3 x 15] Banded Deadlifts

It's definitely possible to slow the effects and appearance of aging down and not look as rough. Dude's on his collegen, proper vitamins (E -etc), nutrient oils, proper sleep, good water, healthy food, balanced sun exposure, is relaxed, lives witha low stress, calm thoughtful attitude around people who love and support him. He's doing all the right things and he's sharing that and the good effects with you. Up to people if they don't want to listen to amazing and proven advice. Dude's being a GREAT example and showing the way. Haters gonna hate.
