I posted then deleted it last night after reading around and seeing a few people suggest it was fake.

The first tune's definitely some variation of a legit Autechre tune but I'm not sure about the rest, also it's uploaded by some random Russian guy with like four videos so I dunno what to make of it.

yo, sean here a few people asked me about this today so here goes: it's one of two cds i burned for playing a dj set at dave hanal's birthday party in mcr. i left it in his laptop by mistake, oops :D not much of it's solo stuff (two tracks, you can guess) and there's a few i didn't work on but were recorded in my studio, apologies to those concerned (who will remain nameless of course). most of it was unfinished and a few are just parts, or they cut off early etc. track 01 - ae, 2011 track 02 - ae - from oversteps sessions, 2009 track 03 - gescom - unfinished stakker cover/remix, 2007 track 04 - gescom, 2005 track 05 - ae - from quaristice sessions, 2007 track 06 - ae, 2006 track 07 - gescom, 2007 track 08 - gescom, 2006 track 09 - gescom, 2005 track 10 - gescom, 2008 track 11 - dj mix i did for dave's birthday, 1988 i hardly ever log into this account so i might be a bit slow answering any follow-up q's (if ever) cheers mate

This one's good too

Perhaps because I'm hungover and its October now, I'm more in the mood to be stimulatingly tortured, prodded with electrodes, cheese-grated

from songkick:

It was the worst concert of more than hundred I have been to.

The duo started out anonymously half an hours later they were supposed to. Rob Hall had to come out and play twice, I guess, because Autechre were late. While Autechre were performing, it was completely dark in the hall. At first, I thought it was sort of a sound-check or an intro. However, I realized soon that this is the way it should be. What they played was just a bunch of random sounds, with no rhythm and no melodies whatsoever. It felt as if there was a baby sitting somewhere playing with a newly discovered musical gear by pushing buttons and turning knobs without any understanding of what s(he) is doing. It went like that for nearly 45 minutes (even less that each of the 'guest' musicians played). Autechre didn't even bother to say 'hi' or 'bye', let alone 'thank you' to the audience.

I feel I was laughed by the duo, the concert agency and the venue, who did not indicate that the performance is going to be done in complete darkness and very short.

Very disappointed. I wish I stayed at home.

I went to a weird fabric thing at an opera House last year I think

Everyone sitting down with djs on stage

Was weird and in fact quite disgusting, like being at the funeral of rave culture, death by arts council-ification

Quite a cool building though
