Enemies of Dissensus

we murder to dissect
Dissensus needs better enemies - better still, one really serious enemy, who crystallises in a vivid way everything that we are collectively for by embodying everything that we are collectively against. An enemy whose scorn is our succour, whose tears our nectar. We must seek out this person, whoever they may be, and remorselessly antagonise them.

You don't understand McKenna because you are not intelligent enough you need to stop pissing about and get serious

Yes well, tell that to the hippies from Somerset and Wiltshire who love to sample him 50 million times. You're nailing your colours to them. Have some self-respect.

I met Terence McKenna a couple of times and he was really engaging. Interviewed him at the ICA when he was part of a thing there.

His ideas were mainly a load of tosh, but he was a fun guy. (one for Mr Tea there).

I agree with @poetix that this thread needs more focus. McKenna is just a source of beef between luka’s psychedelic poetry faction on here and third’s psychedelic communist faction on here.

does this hypothetical enemy need to be someone we might have interactions with, like craners nemesis owne hatherly, or are we looking for some public figure who explemfies everything we are against and due to distance we can project on even more.

Im sure gus has a carefully kept black book with names addresses and phone numbers of the former, but Leo is the only one in brooklyn and is a little too old to be giving out lashings.
