Uploaded this beat to my YouTube today. Like the mix of Bassline sounding bass and Funky drums. Is available free on Shay & Sinista’s Soundcloud at the moment.

What was the track with the "You Know I Don't Like To Do That" sample? and the one that samples Wu Tang too? Those are stuck in my head

Feeling a bit more motivated with new tunes again so here's some good ones I've found on my travels -

Feel like Begala the first track on here belongs in this thread. The other tunes all have different kinds of beats but it's a consistently strong EP right through. Good to be able to finally get hold of some tunes by Brey, it's out on Monday (as is Major Notes latest EP Ashanti Burial).

Then there's The Crypt EP by Gorgon City (thanks to Tim F for the heads-up on this one):

The title track has Rubi Dan & Navigator on it and is some serious ragga-funky vibes. Last tune The Truth is also pretty cool once it gets going.
(Flicking through the juno pages for Black Butter, the label who put this out, and it seems they have quite a few decent releases I've slept on, dunno why I've not paid attention to the label before).

Also thought the title track on this was very strong:

Kind of like a beefed-up version of their tune Pantha from last year. Mista Men are good at doing the whole chunky rolling beats thing.

Oh and that dude Murlo has done some great remixes, including a totally insane soca style one of a Slackk tune. Just search his junodownload page, there's plenty of stuff released (not really investigated his solo material yet though).

Ossie guest mix for the Hyperdub show on Rinse:
Thanks to jimi for linking this on ilx.
By rights this should prob go in the House 2012 thread but I'm putting it here mainly because this seems to be where the biggest concentration of Ossie-enthusiasts are on the board.
Anyway, it seems to me that he's come on a long way with the housey bits since his first moves in that direction. Particular faves are the tunes that come in at about 4.50, 20.15 & 23.20 (happy lols at how hype Scratcha gets about this one).

So Marcus is playing Electro & Hard House now, hard to see this as a positive step.
& Spankrock :confused::confused::confused: what's that about?
I wrote that after listening to about 4 tunes in the beginning, then after that he played a load of wank :( Then some good stuff, then some of the old aggro bassy stuff I remember him playing over the summer.

edit: yeah like the first 12 minutes of that show were pretty great, then he got into this stuff, which leaves me cold, except for that one tune near the end with the "feels so good" sample

Also, apprently ukfunky.net is now http://soundplate.com/ Don't know what this means, I stopped checking that site ages ago, too little quality control over there

That Ossie mix on the other hand, best thing i've heard in ages, put a big smile on my face :D.
Quality underground House and top notch Broken Beat, looking forward to those releases.
Anyone know of any upcoming dj dates for him?
