it was in response to this that he wrote

You don’t miss what you never had

Out on the big swirling peninsular

Swollen tide bursts, silent barns rusted paint tins

Poorly supported yachts

Wintering on land.

Ploughing the dry mud with sullen worn out boots

Looking for some action but

Mainly staring out at the horizon

Noticing grey shards of rain clouds

Blowing in from the sea.

Cake walk over towards extracted margarine other

Nothing happening today apart from tarpaulin wraths

Toasted cheese trumpet lessons count the breath

It is here that we reside washing on the line knickers

Fancy pants.

i'll come downstairs and there will be a beautiful model from Kazakstan lying on the couch Corpsey will be shirtless, his trousers held up with twine, standing in front of his easel, painting her, Craner will be in the kitchen dipping his breakfast croissant in red wine, tapping out his latest novel with one violent finger

John Eden will be stirring a massive pot on the hob, homemade chutney for all the local pensioners, ah, what a wonderful smell! Sweet reggae music throbbing in the smoky air. In the garden Danny is squatting in his orgone accumulator harvesting massive amounts of sex energy.

Nationalism in Europe is rampant. But on a small scale, ironically encouraged by the EU. They have funded micronationalisms, for example Wales, Scotland, Catalonia, Venice, to undermine the Nation State, and build the European project. It's a mad concept that simply encourages more recidivism, backward thinking and self-destrucive politics. Wales is a prime example. The Welsh cultural and political elites have built on the ridiculous Welsh Language Act, forcing state school kids to study the Welsh language up to the age of 16, rather than something useful like German, and all public sector bodies to publish in Welsh and English with no extra funds for translation and material publication (everything duplicated in ink on paper sent out with envelopes which about 90% of the population ignore and throw away because they don't speak or read Welsh).
