Supported Timeblind a few weeks back and his Ableton set was very engaing and evolving - lots of small sections mixed quickly that moved through alot of styles over an hour and a half and really ebbed and flowed.

Quite often two tunes played together in ableton (with the warp markers set perfect) sound awkward and I find myself desperately wanting to nudge one of them forward or back a bit. Obviously when your mixing vinyl the mix sounds best when the grooves are locked together, not simply placed...

Good link Ben, lot of important points in there. Henke's whole page is awesome - some of the technology meets music things he's done look very impressive. Does anyone on here have experience of creating installations or interactive sound art at all?

Actually, fuck it, this is stupidly good. The rythmic looseness and rough production makes listening like some kind sonic re-hydration after all the clinical techno I've been absorbed in. Bit late on this one I guess:o
