I am unbecomingly curious as to how the evening played out. I couldn't be there but I'd have loved to have been a fly on the wall. I suppose I can hardly ask for a blow-by-blow account from everybody though. I mean, was it weird? Did you all just get pissed and talk about music? Was it all blokes? I'm just trying to imagine Dissensus with audio, and faces and flesh and stuff.

There were as many as 2 (TWO) women there. I chose the wrong table at first and got a pitying look when I asked some punter if he was from dissensus.

"No, I don't think I am..."

Anyhow, I had a lovely time, tho I feel r u b b i s h now

It's one of the things I like about forums, the fact that they can become real people. I've met lots of great people over the years through forums, but I've always been interested in contacting people who shared my interests - used to do it through fanzines etc. which is how I know Jon. It was good, we talked loads - I can of remember drifitng in and out of a talk aobut the death of subcultures with Kate Mossad and Baboon.

I also remember variously discussing:

Free Will - does it exist? (the last with Rich while he was eating a kebab)

And there were not one! but two! - girls present!
