The 90s nuum poll is when things really pop off.

It would be interesting maybe to have your ballot ballot and then have a personal top 10 (if everyone would be capable) of the various genres/subgenres. So a Jungle Top 10, an Ardkore Top 10 and so on. You'd have to have pretty deep knowledge though, but I reckon a lot of people on here do.

I should really try and get a top 10 of my own together, even though its too late to count. I'd like to see people talk about why they chose what they chose - there's so many writers/journalists on here.

so far we've had 4 dubstep, 5 grime, 4 funky, the rest various garage classics. Pretty even spread I'd say. And you haven't seen the top ten yet.

ha, that is where you're wrong! I voted for heartbroken. not top 10, but it's my token bassline.

don't have problem w/funky, bassline, dubstep if that's what people voted for, those things were all 00s. things like Neighbourhood are just more 90s than 00s nuum. but hey.

we're also suffering from a small sample size here (of like 25 or so right?) so it's easier for a few votes to skew it

you could have a credible top 10 (at least) for every month of 93-95, tho figuring out what month things came would be a pain

one more noticeable omission so far: no Bristol purple. didn't vote for any myself but you'd think something by Joker would get in

Looove the Kano version but Riko's actually blew my mind. Should have been top ten i reckon but its sort of fitting that Heartbroken just squeezed in there, glad to see it there.
