Corpsey
bandz ahoy
I haven't been able to get into football as an adult or any sport really (except the odd England match where they've managed to get into the final/semi final).
And when I've been to football matches I find it hard to lose my sense of individuality in a crowd, I have such a strong sense of my own absurdity that I can't join in the songs without feeling embarrassed. But then, I don't REALLY care.
Music is the one thing which I'm able to feel that sense of collective belonging about. But not in that teenage fan way, which is even more intense, where your sense of identity merges with a subculture.
