I remember when I was suicidal(I was 19) in the late 80's one night I heard this song and it gave me hope. I thought I may be down but "I can shout to the top". I never looked back. Sometimes it just takes a song.
The tarot cards he's holding are Death, the Empress, the Emperor, and the Sun. Death is a transition from one thing (usually the past or present) to another (often the future). Empress represents femininity, motherhood, and female power. Emperor is masculinity, law, and structure. The Sun represents ascension of a spiritual nature, becoming 'golden like the sun' as one ascends to new heights. My very novice interpretation is that there is a transition coming for all people, in which the end result is ascension to a higher plane.
One key difference is that people who learned Irish pronounce the "r" as a voiced retroflex approximant [ɻ], as in a variety of the English /r/, while monolingual speakers pronounce it as a voiced alveolar tap [ɾ].
I believe this goes for pretty much every language in existence. English is the best example just in the UK alone there are 3 countries that speak English but have different accents, pronunciation and dialect. Jump over the pond to N.America and the same thing is going on and not just between Canada and the US but between the individual provinces and states contained within their borders aswell. ✌
@a modern alchemist Maybe, you are thinking about Old English and modern English. Funny thing is that any man who would speak Old English would be confused as homosexual. Lol. I believe that it is known as Olde English.
My older brother and me went to see BB King at Drury College - Springfield Missouri 1974 . I think we were the only white dudes in the audience . This big handsome Black guy next to me smiled and said - "How ya'll doin? " . I told him me and my brother felt like two grains of salt in a pepper shaker . The Black man laughed and slapped me on the back . He then proceeded to light a joint and hand it to me . Cops were 50 feet away with smiles on their faces and didn't have a damn thing to say . Cheap wine and whiskey . Good cheap Mexican weed . Everybody having a great time TOGETHER . The best damned concert I've ever been to ... and I've been to a lot of concerts . I miss BB & Lucile like oxygen . BB and the Blues will do that to ya .
