Almost got nabbed by cunts at the exit of the DLR they had sealed the exits off but luckily I found a comrade and he let me slip out the cordon

not a pub i favour this, though it's got a very big garden, being two pubs recently amalgamated. some youngs pubs have gone absolutely demented with the upholstery. not sure if you've noticed. enderby arms on the east side of greenwich is the same, mismatched floral fabrics everywhere.

Pubs need a prerequisite few old fellas to flesh them out. Mansfield Rd here has a few holding out against all the elements - drugs, Brexit, Covid, older generations declining - but still somewhere a non drinker like myself can order a bottle a pop and read the paper on a lunch break in relative calm before they fill up for evenings

I miss certain pubs but don’t miss the various errors made in them slaughtered, if that makes sense

Good sign IMO, pubs that sell Monster Munch are usually well worth drinking in too, I've found. I hate it when pubs sell those disgusting overbaked brown crisps with flavours like sea salt and cider vinegar, or sun dried tomato, that turn into splinters in your gob.

i liked sitting in the garden and drinking off a hangover there with a few guinesses. nice pub. good mix of regulars and tourists blown in from the observatory/park/museum
