my grandad apparently was a driver for the chief constable and had to carry a gun cos of the IRA

I read somewhere that the Dutch used to be quite small by European standards, but then at some point they all started consuming loads of milk and dairy as kids, and now they're the tallest country.

yeh i heard that as well but always found it a theory too simple to be true, i mean other countries drink milk as well right? either way i think it has reached freakish proportions and people have become too tall

The Netherlands is the only country I've visited where it's normal for adults to drink milk with their lunch, is all I'll say.

i am so small in my country, i am 172 and i'm lucky most of my friends are of the same height which is interesting i think it's some sort of unconscious process that makes you select mates that don't stand out so much. but yeh i do have one or two friends that are almost 2 meter and when i walk next to them it looks as if i'm their child totally ridiculous
