name any interesting music that come from the 50s
nope, none of itDoo-wop, which had a huge influence on the use of harmony in pop rock, soul, rocksteady... Jazz, Bebop, Hard bop - tons of amazing 50s jazz. R+B, Stax, New Orleans and the 2nd line, directly responsible for the birth of reggae... The folk revival of the late 50s...
Calypso, Skiffle!
