it squares perfectly. this is what i always tell woops. poetry is not indie, it's R&B. it's primary colours.

we deal head on square on with the big things. if someone asks me, as they often do, for a poem about a friend who has just died, or if they are themselves dying, R&B is the model. if they have just fallen in love, R&B is the model. these are the primary states of euphoria and despair we pass through. this is so vital.

but they are cliches invested in. self pity they beleive in. and it communicates. and it becomes universal.
