Not to diminish, they just could

many of mine at the beginning, sure. but the Lindstorm tracks are much more recent, and also interested in non-dance chug. things that make you jut your chin out, that thing chickens do.

there's something about the chug. not futuristic, not leading edge, not on the pulse. just chugging along, comfortable in it pedestrian functionality.

Lots off late era Weatherall stuff is firmly in the mid tempo chug zone. A Love From Outer Space had a speed limit of 122bpm, so nothing ever got too fast. I like this one cos it’s chugging but has that elevating/ euphoric feeling I associate with faster tempos.
