English Rasta by Michael Jackson.

Last night I had a great listening experience I was listening to the song 'English Rasta' by Caberet Volatire and suddenly discerned the Michael Jackson song hidden inside it and desperately trying to get out and I greatly enjoyed superimposing the Jackson version on top of the original, having them play off against one another. Now you try it.

Imagining a singer that could bring out the melodies and dynamics. Imagining a crack troupe of professional musicians. Quincy Jones masterminding the whole thing. Breathing life into it, giving it space and depth and vivid colour.

"This could be the end of the...." Imagine that sung well, imagine how brilliant it would feel. Such a great song.

I can hear what you mean. It's got that jerky spastic beat that he'd bounce off.

This song is awful though, it would need a complete refurb.
