This is amazing. Reminds me of loads of things, "Go Bang" by Dinosaur L and a bazillon other bits

yeah they nailed the pd/ph thing and kept it fresh too. and trombones ffs! not to be too dramatic but it actually gave me hope that there's young people out there ready to pick up the ball

Well, I clicked on this thread expecting to get recommendations for records that I would never get around to listening to - wasn't expecting to be confronted with that. The hair gel years.

This has been the leanest year for music I can remember but then I have been distracted by all that's been going on.

But I do love this (came out this year but actually made in 1978)

Beatriz Ferreyra, using nothing but the voice of her niece, Mercedes Cornu, who died in a car accident.

Parmegiani and Bayle out in front, a little behind Reibel, Risset, Ferrari, and then it would be a tight pack with Ferreyra, Malec, Redolfi, Zanesi, et al. Jaap Vink straggling far behind, despite the promising name.

All these end of year lists don't really reflect what's going on in music (I am guessing) because critics aren't normal people.

Everything about music seems unappealing at the moment. I don't want anything to do with it. People should just be quiet and not make a noise
