i dunno i think they have a much better profile that cars already, they have a bunch of symbolism that make them good for singing about otherwise these last couple of pages wouldnt have got filled up like this

i mean a lot more people drive cars but while that form of transport is just as banal, nobody much sings about em (or maybe someone needs to start that thread) or bicycles,
Countless songs about cars.

Car songs - always thought the pitch bend thing in Detroit techno or like at the start of Heart - These Dreams was meant to emulate a car skidding in a S shape or just whizzing past, whad'ya call that? Aswell as the general motors factory sounds thing.

So so many car songs... from the start of rock n roll (see other thread) with Rocket 88... Gary Numan, what was that one he did about cars? Loads about cruising round, top down etc etc and car as metaphor for penis (pull up to my bumper baby, drive it in between).
Bikes....




Trucks and bikes (alright it's about a motorbike isn't it?) - and it's a good song too!
