I get bored easily. Or rather one type of tune/genre sets a thought off and I want to hear something that is an association rather than another version or a similar thing. But not always.

Well it's like version saying with Baudrillard. There's so much past to mine, you can't stop. Even though it probably would be better all around if we slowed down. We'd can't.

“It is… energy everywhere, the play of forces and force-waves, at the same time one and many, agglomerating here and diminishing there, a sea of forces storming and raging in itself, forever changing…”

The body is the product of chance; it is nothing but the locus where a group of individuated impulses confront each other so as to produce this interval that constitutes a human life, impulses whose sole ambition is to deindividuate themselves.”

“There is no ego at the centre, any more than there are persons distributed on the periphery. Nothing but a series of singularities in the disjunctive network, or intensive states in the conjunctive tissue, and a transpositional subject moving full circle, passing through all the states, triumphing over some as over his enemies, relishing others as his allies…”

Think of Burroughs who personifies these forces as enemy agents, alien parasites, nova police and so on and thus posits earth conditions as the result of the perpetual war between these mutually incompatible interests, their unstable alliances and conspiracies, double crosses and betrayals, victories and reversals. This is a war universe, as Burroughs says

Is it the voice that is being carried about through our vessel body? The voice enters us, changes, leaves?

This one's Deleuze on music, iirc.

» One can conceive of a continuous acoustic flow that traverses the world and that even encompasses silence. A musician is someone who appropriates something from this flow: notes? Aggregates of notes? No? What will we call the new sound from a musician? «

It's a good way to take the person out. But it's hard to see or think about in a tangible way.

Ecept through music I suppose.
