It's been a while since I read that article, but skimming it now and it's basically an alt-right sort of thing attacking your standard Reddit-y millennial man, i.e. liberal, loves Big Tech and Marvel, has lots of toys and action figures and video games, can't really do anything practical.

Yeah possibly, I'm not sure.

There were also huge dragonflies and a guy wax saying how they are as old as dinosaurs, they've no carriage for their wings, the wings just stay out all the time.

The best thing I saw on holiday was a sculpture in a small church. It was called "the purification of the earth" and it was a tree stump, covered in flecks of blood (garish paint). Upon the stump is a bloodied hand, reaching out. Again, covered in blood spots and also with a knife or pen ( can't remember which) spearing the palm.

The hand is holding a model of thd earth, but the oceans are all blood red.

Above the earth and stuck into it is a cross, gothic style. And aobve that is an Eagle.

It was 2500 quid.

That cicada sound, if you actually listen to it, it's very varied and keeps changing up a bit. I think it's that quality that allows yoj to eventually tune if out. If it was the exact same thing over and over if would be like tinnitus or something
