oh yes there is definitely something about certain traits of trap and drill, I think some of it is that phasing and flange effects that have very much of an internal effect when you're zoning in and out with each breath, sudden filter cuts etc
all the embroidery is just made for it

I can imagine this working well actually, all those filters that they put on the entire track, as in house, are very mdma rushy sounding.
