I’m a fan of the white on white look. I’ve been trying to do it myself recently. Makes you look like a real posh sleazeball, theoretically

I hear this, it describes exactly something I regularly try for... problem is I'm so careless, clumsy ans otherwise useless that white is the worst thing to wear... I can honestly have a shower, fer dressed and check myself in the bathroom mirror looking shiny white and sharp... and then by the time i reach the hallway and start putting my shoes on, if I happen to glance at the mirror there I will ne all grubby, rumpled, stained etc. I mean I don't mind rumpled that can potentially add to the sleaze effect if you're lucky, but grubby is never good.

So long story short - I love to wear white but it is a truly terrible colour for to wear. In fact literally ten seconds ago I decided to trest myself to a delicious cup of buble tea, I walk out of the shop and a pigeon takes off right next to me..... result, 4.80 euros worth of bubble tea all over me....

I'm not actually sure about this - a point that I've heard made a few times is that men's clothes traditionally use the visual and physical structure of the clothes to "correct" the appearance of the wearer, so you can't magic a beer gut and man boobs away but a well-cut jacket, shirt and trousers will make them less prominent than a plain t-shirt would.
The design of (double breasted) suits and waistcoats makes this apparent

Ages ago I bought these kinda pastel green trainers somewhere in Russia. They were kinda unusual and cos of that i loved em but when they wore out they were gone and I couldn't find anything even vaguely similar to replace them.... until now. Of course these are a totally different colour but somehow the effect is the same. And for fifteen euros.... what do you reckon?
