Great bit of electro history - Factory Records went bananas when they heard Divine's "Love Reaction" and sent Bobby Orlando a legal notice. Which Bobby O clearly threw in the bin, because he then produced the song below. Think what I love about this so much is how he tried to throw the lawyers off the scent by pitch-bending the synth choir 'aaahhh's a bit 😀 Would have loved to have seen the judge's face when Bobby O mounted his defence, but, AFAIK, Factory blew its potential legal fees on making the Blue Monday 12" as cheap as possible anyway, so it never went to court.
Yep, pretty sure that was him.Didn't Bobby O produce the original version of West End Girls too?
Yeah, was gonna say that synth sounds like the horn on my dad's old Datsun Cherry.sounds more like a frustrating traffic jam on the way to the beach than the beach itself
This is an impossibility.Diminished its uniqueness.
He was a Polish blues rock guy and had a couple of new wave hits, but for this album he shifted to the winning 808/303 combo. Think this song is a poetic exposition of the 'fate of the centipede' but my Duolingo Polish only gets me so farNuts. Do you know anything about this tune?
Oh. What's the objection? Not a 1HW, not silly, or not good?No Ollie no!
