You can leave out the drugs, but anyone your age that lives in a large city that isn't seriously taking advantage of clubs and parties on a very regular basis (at least once a week) is doing it wrong.
Mix it up some, and don't be afraid of going to places on your own.
If I could handle it, almost anyone can.
