i ended up reading part 1 without watching it, and actually think that worked well. which comes down to the version of the movie and its themes that sus hallucinates into existence being way more interesting than the movie itself.I started reading it, but then I realized that i'd be lost since I only saw the first avatar and don't remember a thing about it.
