The beauty of blossoming plants

bandz ahoy
Loveliest of trees, the cherry now
Is hung with bloom along the bough,
And stands about the woodland ride
Wearing white for Eastertide.

Now, of my threescore years and ten,
Twenty will not come again,
And take from seventy springs a score,
It only leaves me fifty more.

And since to look at things in bloom
Fifty springs are little room,
About the woodlands I will go
To see the cherry hung with snow.

Part of the beauty with flowers is how much human interaction has played with their genetics, their blooms, fragrances

You see a significant spring bloom in Britain (not grim for argument’s sake), daffs, crocuses, first roses of the year and, chances are, people helped shape their futures

Wild flower meadows in early summer or late September, not to get all pastorally effected, can stun the eye just not many wild flower meadows left

And maybe as you get older and more conscious of mortality you are more cheered and even thrilled by these sproutings of life and beauty

And maybe winters get more depressing?

If the sap gets onto your skin and it's then exposed to the sun, your skin can blister badly. Blistering can then recur over months and even years.
This is known as phytotoxicity.
