Ah yes... and what film was it where he had a cameo as kinda like a jock bulky strangely enough given thisYeah, and Whiplash.
There is something off about miles teller. rich, spoilt, thin-skinned prep school bully vibe

great seriesIs it that guy from Too Old To Die Young?
Yeah I loved it though I would struggle to articulate why... perhaps you can help me with that?great series
well for starters, the show has trouble articulating itself, in a literal sense, there isn't a lot of talking, and when characters do talk, they do so in a very slow and monotonous esoteric way....ii believe there are only 8 episodes, varying in minute length, but the show has a high sense of self awareness with its subject matter (police corruption, high class pedophilia, human trafficking, others im forgetting i havent watched the show in years), it hardly uses its words so bluntly or forwardly, and when it does, it almost comes off satirical (the scene at the police hq where all the officers are chanting "fascism")..... the series is also incredibly hyper stylized as a result of NWR getting what it looked like free reign from amazon to do whatever he wants, so in short, you get some neon lighting, slow talking show about california sickos.... you like it because its a handsomely stylized show that takes its time and doesnt hold your hand.... its a great show! i should run it back this yearYeah I loved it though I would struggle to articulate why... perhaps you can help me with that?

Night shift trilogy sorted!
you should follow up with Copenhagen Cowboy which features Miroslav and some other members of the Pusher cast - almost like "where are they now?"
I couldn't get along with that series. Plodding, even by Refn's standards.
Anyone seen this?
Overweight expatriate Tobias shares his Bangkok apartment with his pregnant Thai girlfriend,Koi. They have so little in common that their relationship is conducted in near silence, though they tolerate each other for reasons of security and companionship. Their lives are uneventful and dull until a provincial mafia hitman arrives on the scene.
I have but I fail to remember anything about it.
I had to look it up to try and remind myself what happens - not much apparently:
