It's so funny that Wiley even still continues to view Lethal B as being a top boy, because of his past credentials and his highly debatable mainstream success. No one, and I mean no one, in the grime scene rates Lethal B anymore, and I don't think many outside of it do either. Only Wiley.

Also lol @ his "few other albums sounding heavy."

raskit = sign of how labour failed our schools.

surely he's too old for that? i'm younger than him and blame thatch, major and the hamfisted early national curriculums. he'd already have been in year 7 when labour came in, i imagine he left at 16. make your own mind up.

I realised last night when I was listening to soulfood volume 1 how out of the loop I have been with recent grime. Could someone reccomend me a couple of great mixtapes from the last few months please?

Are U Dumb III is amazing - got that?

Soulfood III also essential for Trim over a few wonkier beats.

Dot Rotten - RIP Young Dot also essential (give it a while, took me a few goes to get into).

paxman just interviewed dizzee on newsnights US election programme. god knows why - in a word, cringeworthy lol. funny but still, cringeworthy. of all the people they could have gotten to represent 'the youf', they had to get dizzee. it was really quite embarassing for him and hip hop (he was captioned as a hip hop artist and talked about how obama couldnt have gotten through to the kids without hip hop). raskit = sign of how labour failed our schools.

tbh i thought he was pretty good
