my bookcase crushes craners. i sleep on books, my bookcases are made of big art hardbacks and encyclopedias.

i recently used spare pléiade editions to reinforce my floorboards

i remember the first flat i visitied that belonged to woops and i swear to god this is true he couldnt open the door
we both had to put our shoulder to the wheel so to speak (and i swear again this is not a joke) and we wedged it 6 inches open
and squeezed in and the whole fucking hallways was filled with trampled books. thats not a lie. god
strike me down if i lie. he had been working for a book discounter and stolen things willy nilly
and just tossed them fucking everywhere. thats when i realised he was mentally ill

i actually put that book discounter out of business single-handedly by nicking so much stock. i would leave with two crammed carrier bags per day. as much as i could carry. i remain good friends with the proprietor
