And besides, from what I can tell online--here and in the U.K. press--white British culture becomes more and more like white American culture every day.
Yeah, I like the way he presents sexual imagery in this really unsexy, ludicrous way. But aside from that, his aesthetic can be really clean-cut, almost like an instruction manual or guidebook, I've always liked that Roy Lichtenstein schtick. So you got those two elements really jarring.
