sometimes i still can't quite believe the quality of some of the phang stuff- he didn't release a lot, but by golly its top notch- powerhouse stuff gets played loads on some of the live dancehall dvds i've got (might rip the audio of a couple soon) and it sits beautifully between classic studio one, rub-a-dub and sleng teng.

i was initially concerned about the truth and rights re-rub- does it really need doing? but then i heard it.

Plus the Sizzla tune at the end - every time I hear it I can't believe how good that is.

well, the 'invasion' update part was constructed before christmas and i couldn't be arsed to re-order it properly - as you say 'oh mr dc' into the updated version would be perfect, but i thought using them as bookends worked ok.

glad you like it though. i quite like this praise business
