Wow, Matt, this looks excellent. It's got tracks from all those compilations you hipped me to in that recent reggae thread, too, I see...

Awesome, thank you.

all- well, thank you!
there again, you haven't heard it yet- the .wav sounds fine, and so does the mp3 on headphones, but i played it on my stereo last night and its a bit muddy- if any of you have issues i'll re-upload it/ send you a proper cd of it.

Sounds alright to me!

Top stuff, especially loving the Massive B and Phang. And well, all of it.

Plus the Sizzla tune at the end - every time I hear it I can't believe how good that is. :)

sometimes i still can't quite believe the quality of some of the phang stuff- he didn't release a lot, but by golly its top notch- powerhouse stuff gets played loads on some of the live dancehall dvds i've got (might rip the audio of a couple soon) and it sits beautifully between classic studio one, rub-a-dub and sleng teng.

i was initially concerned about the truth and rights re-rub- does it really need doing? but then i heard it.

Matt, super sweet stuff this, thanks. Sorted for the weekend soundtrack!
I love the new version of "Oh Mr. D.C." - if I must nitpick then the only thing I find I could say was that I wished you'd programmed the Sugar Minott original (just how good is that song!) back to back with this but don't listen to me...

Pure niceness!

well, the 'invasion' update part was constructed before christmas and i couldn't be arsed to re-order it properly ;) - as you say 'oh mr dc' into the updated version would be perfect, but i thought using them as bookends worked ok.

glad you like it though. i quite like this praise business :)

listened to it last night - booming out in the car via my ipod/itrip thing - as good as i hoped.

starts like a rocket and keeps building - ending with a particularly fine final tune

Cheers

been listening to this alot this weekend - i had it playing whilst i was out jogging tonight and i'm sure i ran faster!!!

although being told tomorrow is guaranteed to no-one is a little worrying as you feel yet another unspecified twinge

makes me wonder what other music would be good to exercise to?

my friend highly recommends venetian snares, esp. the 'rosszz...'[sic] lp.
it makes me run like a spazz.
