The Catherine Tate "laurenism" aside, is this further evidence of the BNP successfully positioning themselves as a radical alternative to the mainstream parties?
yes- keighley is a very divided town (more info here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keighley) and is also run down (its an old mill town).
the bnp have been doing their usual 'trick' of blaming ethnic minorities for all the towns problems, as well as making some other problems up (the whole grooming of young white girls by pakistani lads started in keighley).
anne cryer, the disgraceful mp for keighley can't mention things like social class / economics / class war which are the real cause of the problems because according to new labour we live in a classless society.
this leaves a huge hole which the bnp cynically attempt to fill.

The BNP's continuing success should make the lib/lab/cons and those to the left of them hang their heads in shame.
unfortunately anne cryer doesn't understand the concept of shame. nor does she listen to her constituents (thankfully i'm not one)- she has a long record of being rubbish
