Apart from a couple of random Irish blokes I see occasionally, I'm pretty much the only English in the barrio where I am, which is a bit of a shithole in some ways but I love it

We never speak English between ouselves, her English is terrible and she's older than me. I know that type though!

It's weird with my boy though, I only speak to him in English, never Spanish, and he understands every word I say but he almost always replies to me in Spanish
