That's such a fascinating story. I'm personally convinced it's a giant disco ball.

I did a bit of digging on Dr Steven Greer, and it seems he is now shilling all kinds of UFO related wares - my favorite being selling a two day course on remotely contacting aliens for $700.

I guess if he was in any other business, I wouldn't knock his entrepreneurial hustle, the guy has to eat after all, but I think what he is now doing really undermines the whole Disclosure Project. I still think many of the witness testimonies deserve to be heard though, from what I gather none of the witnesses have profited from this, and I respect the guy for putting the whole thing together.

Something else I find really interesting in this area are the 'Majestic 12' documents. Majestic 12 or MJ-12 are allegedly a group of 12 people, some military, some civilian, who were put together by President Truman to handle what happened at Roswell in secret. Government documents have been released, and some others leaked, which make reference to this elite group, although not everyone thinks they are authentic. A story definitely worth a google.

i like the alien contact kits, where you can steer ufos with a torch.
he is the disclosure project, he doesnt undermine it .
how about this one

' For a mere minimum $600.00 donation (Greer's announcements of course says "more is appreciated"), a chosen group of 15 participants get to spend 5 days with Doc Greer learning all about the "nature of reality and the experience of higher states of consciousness", what "extraterrestrial contact is really about", what "the religious elites don't want you to know about spirituality and why the priesthood is obsolete", just who it is that "runs the shadowy secret government - and why", the "people, the corporations, facilities and agencies hiding the biggest secrets in history", who "has stolen the free energy technologies - and why", "the next 500,000 years: Blueprint of the golden age of humanity" and Greer's famous hook of "Disclosure - The inside look at 14 years of Dr. Greer meeting with the World's Power Elites - and what they know (and don't know)".

plus the witness samples say absolutley nothing, they are designed to draw you in basically.
first witness sample:
"there is a serious possibility" that "should be the subject of rigorous scientific investigation"

but not by the disclosure project who as i said are little more than a would be cult run by a crackpot.

I still think the Apollo astronauts, cosmonauts, military, NASA and intelligence people who came forward are credible. I don't understand why you think this is like a cult?

These 450 people met once in 2001, testified and nothing much has happened since. It's not like they drink Kool Aid together. They are the disclosure project, Greer is the admin guy who put it together. I think what they treid to do was admirable if they believe what they witnessed to be true.

Quite a group of those people later complained that they didn't give permission for the testimonies. Alot have rejected the disclosure project, some are cranks. some are disinfo agents, some are serious ufologists, who disagree with steven greers motives behaviour, politics and agenda though.

It sounds like you know a lot more about this than I do - sounds like it's not been the great and good movement I first thought it was. Where did you read about all this? Be interested to ead more.

here in oregon, and canada, and montana...

Sunday, Feb. 4

8:10 p.m.: Operator took a complaint of individuals driving north of Boone observing what they described as a large fire ball falling from the sky. Deputy checked the area as observers were concerned that it could have been a plane. After finding nothing and checking with the National Weather service it was determined to have been a meteor, as the weather service received more sightings state wide.

whats interesting about that last one is that on a different news source the faa reported no planes missing AND there was reported no strange astral behavior.

I've only ever seen spurious, 'wacky' or blatantly made-up stuff in it - but then, maybe those are the only sorts of Pravda stories people tend to link to on messageboards.

Note also the adverts for porn dotted around the page...
