it's a pretty odd name for a pub.

yesterday i went to the other one, the commercial, and had a pint of 'commerc'ale' which was 2.40 a pint. this is the very heavenly ale, slightly fizzy and hoppy, has a head, sort of takes a little while to clear. honestly the best ale i've had in ages.

the pub itself is good, it's basically a cut above the silent woman i suppose, in a sense, but i prefer the silent woman.

I'm going to a craft house tonight 8n the village cos my friend wants to try it out. I'm hoping they've got the empires on tap. But they will probably only have chocolate porter or something. Might have to go the lager route.
