oh what a night!! as per usual I was in musical heaven, and by the looks of it so were quite a few people!! emcee child played an awesome set..from my hazy memories I recall hearing Mr.Oizo's Flat Beat, a 2-step cover of Gorillaz' Clint Eastwood, and an ace transistion from some hype rave anthem to Toasty's The Knowledge. The crowd really started moving when Selector Dub U went on.. I don't remember much of what he played (apart from it being really good) EXCEPT for STARKEY - GUTTER MUSIC. I had to wheel that un.. apparently my friend didn't know what a rewind was, and thought that Dub U was in big trouble or summat
Baseck... oh my. I haven't seen this guy play for about a year since I moved up to SF, and I totally forgot how effing amazing he is (not to mention hardcore). to say the least, he captivated the crowd with his ninja turnablistisms, then after a bit of utter mayhem, he switched to gameboy mode... which was, well, more utter mayhem!! after the show I caught up with him as well as a bottle of scotch.. oog ;P

o yeah, and Emcee Child started out with J Dilla... nuff respect.
