Stupid not to apologise for the abysmally-chosen words he used, band then to continue with the point behind them, which is a perfectly fair one to ask.

But Fox still manages to trump it by being even more asinine.

I love the pains they go through to demonstrate their digust - I know we talked about their terrorist fist bump and Obama's 'baby mother'. but we're REALLY NOT RACIST, HONEST!

Fox isn't sexist either, even though I think it's written in all their female anchors contracts that they have to dye their hair platinum blond and/or look like they've arrived direct from a porn set a la Guilfoyle.

And repeatedly invite non-medical professional guests who claim that plan b contraceptives are tantamount to abortion.

Realness.

fairies <---- race ----> end-directed processes ----> atoms ----> stupidity*

But who would win a kick-boxing match between Chuck Norris and stupidity?

Only Chuck Norris's own stupidity can defeat Chuck Norris.

Did you see Huckabee's commercials with Chuck? Great stuff.

Some researchers conducted some sort of focus group where they asked people to associate the McCain and Obama campaigns with consumer brands, and they came up with:

McCain Wal-Mart, Ford, AOL
Obama Target, BMW, Google

It's funny how the republicans like Huckabee were so incredibly and unabashedly hokey in branding themselves with Norris and Schwarzenegger and Hank Williams, Jr. They need a major brand overhaul if they want to compete with the (much more up-to-date, urbanite) democratic one.

yes, and they have a female guest/pundit who called Obama "an inadequate black man"

or is this the same one?

And the election of Mr Obama is a rebuke to people like Malcolm X, a symbol that Martin Luther King was right with his patience, and his give and take and his belief in democracy. For, in the end, democracy triumphed. In the end, non-violence worked. In the end, moderation and self-discipline and restraint worked.

The election of Mr Obama is a rebuke too, to the Eta Basque separatists who put bombs in shopping centres, to the IRA with their pub bombs, to the Baader-Meinhof gang with their abductions and killings. It is a rebuke to the Irgun terrorists whose terrible crime was to blow up the King David Hotel and to the murders and missiles of Hamas and Fatah. It is a rebuke to all those who abandon law and peace in favour of the gun.

And it is an affirmation that sometimes it is the moderates who are the boldest, the slow route that is the quickest, and the man who refuses to raise up his arms who is the most courageous.

Paralelling this with Irish politics is ridiculous. What happened in N.Ireland is the equivalent of the grand wizard of the KKK and a black panther sharing the presidency. What Malcolm X's followers did, like the IRA, was to make the powers that be take seriously demands for civil rights or there would be hell to pay. Noone would have gotten anywhere if the govts weren't actively scared by what the populace might do if they were continued to be trodden on.

You think that the US involvement in the middle east will just dissolve come december
