Was just gonna say that. But they can hardly complain, they just took an old tune and put some vocals over the top of it and then released it as their own. Like I said in that thread that everyone ignored, sampling is one thing, but just putting out someone else's song as your own is a different kettle of fish. So the money from that song went to the person who wrote it and yet they moaned like fuck... but seeing as that song raised their profile way higher than it had been previously, which in turn led to their album selling way more than it would have otherwise done, I still think that they did pretty well off the back of that song. They should shut up and be pleased that they didn't have to pay all the sales money from the album to Andrew Loog Oldham as well as the money from the single itself...It was quite funny when it happened in reverse to The Verve, though.
