Foot and Mouth is a series of experimental radio programmes exploring the sound-sprawl of Hackney. Nick Hamilton drifts through the borough, recording its ambience in his mp3 spirit vial. Catching the voices of fellow psychogeographers and wanderlust addicts, fact and fiction collide amidst bursts of noise. Foot and mouth is a psychogeophonic meditation on Hackney.

The first episode is based around a conversation between Xavier Zapata and Iain Sinclair. The voices trace a trajectory around Hackney's edgelands, taking in the Lower Lea Valley and Hackney Wick where the hulking skeleton of the Olympic Park is growing.

Really wanted to hear this. But kept missing it. Anyone record - or know whether it will be broadcast again?

i'll ask my mate who was involved in organising it and let u know

edit: dont know about ep 1 yet, but will find out

Episode two is about dowsing and walking. Dowsing is the practice of trying to locate hidden water wells, gemstones and currents of earth radiation without using scientific equipment. As the voices multiply and delve further into the borough, all coordinates scramble and you might feel pleasantly lost..
