THE WEE DJs

Personally regarded by Silicon Scally as his ‘sonic hero’, Scotland’s wee djs have long been noted for deep, murky electro on the excellent Gassoline label and his work on Andrew Weatherall’s Emissions label. 2006 saw Fear And Lothian, his debut album on Touchin’ Bass imprint, “a dark and reedy trip around Scotland’s less salubrious sonic highways – with the Wee DJ’s serving up a steady brew of noir-electro and semi-abstract beats, that joyfully disorientates the senses like an Irn Bru binge” – Boomkat .

Fresh from battering the Corsica Studios soundsystem alongside Dopplereffekt, Edinburgh's finest sonic deviant has sent over a scorching live set of deep, tortured electronics, disturbing ambience and rapid tempo switching rhythms.

KANJI KINETIC

Kanji Kinetic's future bass sounds have been causing shockwaves at parties worldwide. Mixing up beats from bassline & 4x4, dubstep and oldskool breakbeat hardcore like no-one else can, he has found support from heavyweights such as Mary Anne Hobbs and Tayo in the UK, and Drop The Lime and Starkey in the US.

With a number of well-received releases on respected labels, his production skills are in high demand with a slew of high-profile remixes about to emerge, as well as brand new original material to destroy the party unlike anything before. He's done an extra heavy mix for this Combat radio show...

CASTRO- Dubwise SG

Castro is one half of Dubwise SG, a producer/DJ team that singlehandedly pushes dubstep, bassline and dread-bass sounds out in Singapore. Linking up with them after a Kode 9 / Space Ape gig out there, we bore witness to their bashment-tech sets at Gilles Peterson's Worldwide Festival which ripped up the system (next to Stereotyp). They also run the sporadic Mutant Dub parties out in singapore, blending jungle, bassline, dubstep and techno.

STORMFIELD- Combat / Bankai

Combat label boss and resident of the show. Dropping unreleased new material and older influences.

Riddim'n'Bruise: a freestyle mashup of mutant dubstep, abstract electro, broken techno, weird electronics with an overall dark melancholic sci-fi vibe. Dropping tunes we like, exclusive guest mixes, previews of forthcoming releases and a load of important tunes from the past 20 years of electronic music, that shaped the Combat sound.
