If the world's population needs to be reduced by 90% to fix the climate, sterilisation on the sly is quite humane compared to a straightforward cull.

It will need to be a 90% reduction as the 50% decrease in industrial output during lockdown 1 did nothing to the level of atmospheric CO2.

I dont think anyone would argue with you that we (humans) have fucked it all up and become out own worst enemies and all that. But how do you achieve a 90% cull? This flu’s not gonna do it, it will be the war in the wake of it.

You would also need to tighten up social control to ensure uptake and deal with any fallout.
