Beast of Burden
steering it back to promoting Kit's work ;)

me and the boy wonder are chatting tomorrow (well, we chatted last week but it's "airing" tomorrow) on Repeater Radio -
8 pm UK / 3 pm East Coast / noon West Coast

repeated (for early risers / night owls) starting Sunday 8 am UK / 3 am East Coast / midnight West Coast

plus here's boy wonder interviewed at Tribune

So what are you saying here, that you're Batman?

woops

is not like other people
Never thought of that - I was just thinking wunderkid

Also he's very fresh faced and boyish.

When I first met him I said "you look like a drawing of a boy"
What boy?
The boy with the power
What power?
The power of voodoo
Who do?
You do
Do what?
Look like the drawing of a boy

according to Kit what he actually said was 'you look like the archetypal image of boyish beauty, you look like a
caravaggio'. tbf i was there that night and i dont remember those exact words being said, but it was probably something
along them lines

Alcohol can distort memories

What I meant was something more like a Letraset image of a clean-cut young man - like a modern-day Platonic archetype

Then he grew a beard and had more of a young John Martyn vibe

Now the beard's gone but the hair is long so the effect is a bit like Daniel Day-Lewis in Last of the Mohicans.

tbf, I was saying this in the main chat, and I know Luke will crucify me for this, but so much of the UK drill actually sounds like a reduced techstep at 33. Just listen to Terror Danjah Highly flammable from 2002 and tell me im wrong.

And whisper it, but its ambient is reticent of early dubstep. The return of the repressed.
