opiates, anti-anxiety medication, softening edges, chopped & screwed, frayed nerves, padded cells, why is ambient so popular now

excitement, arousal, stress, intensity being whatever pushes against and transgresses the limits, into the red, skronk, voice breaking, signal becoming noise

also the effect of listening to music that is recorded in theory to be intense and libidinal as outpouring, as volume as RELEASE, at low volume, always everywhere

Personally i cant deal with ambient and all that unless i'm in the spa, it just doesn't appeal to me but then i was driving home earlier listening to my "moon jazz" playlist and the sunset was pink and purple like a vaporwave album cover, that was a pretty pretentious moment i think

The one thing that has become more prevelant with recent years is that the wooziness of the alt r&b and cloud rap lot- or whatever you call these microgenres- has become a much more respectable overground sound

So the underbelly descends more into the clicks and spirals i guess

Funny that uk techno has gone the other way lately with all these big bait pop remix tunes. Cant get my head around that but i also haven't done a class a in some time

Does vaporwave exist because of the false freedom 80s nostalgia represents or are there just hundreds of tunes it's easy to steal from

I have no idea what this thread is actually about but i am going to keep typing till i finish this sentence

Isn't it also cos if you do loads of uppers, afterwards you need to come down. Some smoke a spliff, some neck a few valiums or Xanax.

So in some cases these things are not an alternative to their opposite in that they replace them, but they're simply the yang to their yin that joins with them to make a whole.

Because as I've repeatedly said, poptimism will burn you out.

And it took at least 10-15 years for pitchfork knobheads to realise this.

These people are incapable of developing a taste for the aescetic, for the austere.

One thing people don't understand about thirdformcore is that my approach makes no sense without the minimal pendulum as recalibration mechanism.
