Just heard clips of "Cake Boss" from Girl Unit's new EP and Jam City's "Her" - Have the Night Slugs guys been listening to industrial or something? There've been traces of that metallic, heavily reverbed sound in some of their stuff for a while now, but don't think it's ever been as overt as this before.

Or is that the ballroom/vogue house influence? From the little I've heard of this (mostly MikeQ), the primary source for snare samples seem to be Michael Bay movies.
