Just watched the second one. Loved the Panther lady who went on to be Tupac's mum. I'm also intrigued by Edgar Mittelholzer's novel My Bones And My Flute, which sounds a bit like a cross between Heart Of Darkness and The King In Yellow.

bit like this last series - pacing it out allows various themes to be explored chronologically except there’s way too much filler

i still find his ability to pull ghosts out of stock footage 150% compelling, which maybe isn’t the point

3-4 episodes could have nailed it much more succinctly

One thing about Curtis is he doesn't just shovel a load of so called facts over you. He does what Pynchon does, he tells you, reminds you, in no uncertain terms that the Nazis won the war and you are under their control.

You're onto something here and it's the way the middlebrow, the bovine herd, all frantically rush to distance themselves from something they previously loved once they detect that change in the wind. They pick it up, the signal for the herd to change direction, and they all change direction. The subhumans, the dilettantes, the lower types.
